ABOUT US

A unique old brick building awaits you at the location of one of Berlin's oldest inns. Here you will also find Berlin's oldest ballroom and now one of the oldest beer halls, the legendary Old Berlin. With a long history as a meeting point for travellers from all over the world, artists, music lovers, as well as culture and history lovers, something very special awaits you. In accordance with the Ballhaus tradition, our theme goes from the past twenties to the future twenties.

Our hostel is located in the Mitte district, the city centre and the historic heart of Berlin. Not only are most of the most popular sites located here, but art and culture lovers will also feel at home in the many museums and theatres. The Natural History Museum and the Berlin Wall Memorial are just next door. The main station is also within walking distance. After a short train ride, you can reach Alexanderplatz with its various shops, the Brandenburg Gate or Museum Island. If you're looking for a quick snack, a delicious lunch or a relaxed drink, you don't have to look far. The Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg club and festival district is also only half an hour's drive away by public transport.
